They are not in my view beautiful as is the song. The meaning behind them is: to see as beautiful a tree is the theme of several peoms, one of which is very apropos, Joyce Kilmer's. "I think I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree..." In this case, the poem is not at all lovely, rather mundane and prosaic. Maybe, a finer poet will choose to write something better, something like Kilmer's.
